The current Lake Level is 704.28 and the average temperature in the   70's  Lake is clear and dangerously low.  Fishing in the main lake area seems to be pretty slow except for the catfish bite.  All other cpecies fair to slow.  Good bite above Bucksaw and Berry Bend  Best baits minnows and jigs for crappie, spoons and inline spinners for whites, and live shad, spoons and sassy ahads for Hybrids. The main problem, as I see it, the water has been low and crystal clear with very little current.  Most hybrid catches have been in 40-50 feet of water with hybrids suspended 15-20 feet just roaming  and feeding on shad. Been a tough year for the ole man, First came a double knee replacement the 30th of December which knocked me out until April.  In June I had bad fall and broke my arm and cracked my wrist and was out until September.  SO FAR, I'm Still rolling along,  To those who have called and those who have sent cards, I want to thank each
