Fishing Report 11/22/2020

Lake level is 704.48.  The water temp 53 degrees in the Osage and Grand.  The water is slightly colored in the Osage and slightly colored to stained in the Grand Arm.  Some of the coves on the north side of the lake are somewhat warmer. Crappie fishing is starting to look up in the mid-lake area.  The crappie are moving off the brush piles and onto the bluffs about 19-22 feet deep a foot off the bottom.  Upper lake areas are producing good fish.  Looks like the fall feed up is about to begin as the water temperature drops the shad will move to shallows and so will the fish.  I used 1/4oz white jig with a Swarmjig white/chartreuse body to catch some really nice crappie. White Bass  are on the windy banks using Sliders, shad raps and inline spinners. I caught a few nice ones on jigs crappie fishing. Lake level is 704.22.  The water temp 55 degrees in the Osage and Grand.  The water is slightly colored in the Osage and slightly colored to stained in the Grand Arm. Crappie fishing is somewhat spotty in the mid-lake area.  The crappie are moving off the brush piles and onto the bluffs about 19 feet deep a foot off the bottom.  Upper lake areas are producing good fish.  Looks like the fall feed up is about to begin as the water temperature drops the shad will move to shallows and so will the fish.  I think maybe it is time to break out the jigs and start probing the bare bank bluffs. White Bass have really been on the scope this year with the bigger ones mixed in with last year's hatch.  We have had great success this year with 3/4 oz spoons and 1 oz spoons on the very shallow humps.   The Dam area has been the prime spot. Small whites have been chasing the small shad on top early and late.  If

A Six Hour day on the lake begins at about 8 a.m. and ends at about 2 p.m. for 1 or 2 people $400.00 fuel included.. The third-person charge is $100.00. A half-day on the lake is usually 4 hours for 1 or 2 people. $300.00 fuel included. The third-person charge is $75.00. Tag-A-Long Boats at $100.00 per boat per day with one of the above packages.
